Considered the Champagne of all teas.
Made from the first and second flush leaves, this Darjeeling Tea is grown at altitudes of 6,800ft in Happy Valley, West Bengal – Darjeeling’s second oldest tea estate. Our Darjeeling produces a shining amber liquor that’s highly aromatic.
Caffeine class: Medium.
How it tastes: Aromatic and light, mild and sweet.
To serve one: Heat 250mls of water to 99°C. Add 1 heaped tsp of tea and allow to infuse for 3 minutes if taken black; 4 if taken with milk.
Why it’s special: The first flush leaves produce lighter, delicate flavours, while the second flush produces the wine-like grape accents that Darjeeling tea is famously associated with. Our Darjeeling
is grown on an environmentally responsible farm.
