Our Jade Oolong tea is an authentic blend of two Jen Xuan loose-leaf teas from Vietnam and Taiwan which complement each other in colour and flavour. Its nuggets of twisted leaves slowly unfurl with heat and are enthralling to watch as they infuse.
Caffeine class: Medium.
How it tastes: Delicately full-flavoured, with floral notes and a buttery palate.
To serve one: Heat 250mls of water to 85°C. Add 1 heaped tsp of tea, allow to infuse for 2-3 minutes and enjoy. Increase the steeping time by 20 seconds for each subsequent brew.
Why it’s special: Oolongs can range between 20 and 80 per cent of oxidisation, making this the most complex of teas. Infused up to five times, each brew of Jade Oolong tea results in different complexities of flavour.
