Description
Smooth and subtly sweet.
Our loose-leaf Nepal Silver Tips tea is grown on a family-run plantation between the borders of the Ilam and Sikkim provinces of Nepal. Harvested by hand in spring, Nepal tea leaves are distinctly silver in colour, turning whole fields into shimmering meadows in the sun.
Caffeine class: Low.
How it tastes: Fresh and creamy, with delicate notes of apricot and a subtle, sweet finish.
To serve one: Heat 250mls of water to 85°C. Add 2 heaped tsps of Nepal tea, allow to infuse for 2-3 minutes and enjoy.
Why it’s special: White tea is the least processed tea, and comes from the camellia sinensis plant. Simply dried with no fermentation, this means our Nepal tea leaves retain more antioxidants than any other tea. It makes a delicious and subtle alternative to green tea.
Tea Type: White tea
Origin: Nepal
